Information about the use of the PureCM Website

1. PureCM website account

1.1. What can I do with my website account?

1. Access all PureCM downloads
Get all the latest PureCM releases and user guides.

2. Access your PureCM support tickets
Post support tickets or check on the status of open tickets.

3. Access PureCM white papers, success stories or other content requiring registration
Read more about how to use PureCM to improve your software development processes.

4. Manage your account details and newsletter subscriptions
Change your contact details and your newsletter subscription.

Note: Changing your email address is currently not possible online.

 

1.2. Login to access downloads, white papers and 'My Account'

Our aim is to give you access to all the present and future areas of the website with the same user name and password. Your user name will always be your email address you have used for your registration. Currently, you can log in on the PureCM website using the sign in button, which appears on the top right of each page.

 

 

This brings up the Login page. Alternatively you will automatically be redirected to the Login page if you are trying to get any protected content such as file downloads without being logged in.

 

Insert your email address and your password to login. If you do not remember your password, use the ‘Forgotten Password' button to reset your password. This will be sent to your email account.
You can see that you have been successfully logged in if the ‘Login/Register' button changes to ‘My Account', and your name appears next to it.
 

Click on ‘My Account' to see and manage your account details.

As you are logged in now, you can access all content on the PureCM website except for support tickets, which require an additional login explained on the next page.

1.3. Post and manage your support tickets

You can access your support tickets from the support page or from your account page. Click on the link to get to the login page.

Enter exactly the same login information as before on the website login page.

Note: You can only reset your password on the main login page on the website, but not on the login page for support tickets.After successful login, you can manage your existing tickets or post a new ticket.

Note: You can see all tickets that you sent to the PureCM Support, regardless of whether they were sent directly via email to support@purecm.com or submitted from this portal. Obviously, tickets have to be sent from the same email account you used for your login to appear on this portal.

1.4. Website account FAQs

  1. My company has changed the name since I first registered and I would like to use my new email address now. How can I do this?
    Unfortunately, you are not able to change your email address of an existing account. Please create a new account with your new email address and inform us about that you would like to deactivate your old account sending an email to sales@purecm.com.

  2. Why does my personal information (e.g name and first name) not appear in ‘My Account’?
    This is most likely due to the reason that your account was created before we started capturing this information with the website relaunch. Please complete your details and click on ‘Update’.

  3. How can I change my password for my existing account?
    Just log in with your old password and go to ‘My Account’ if you are not automatically redirected to this page. Then enter your new password, confirm it and click on ‘Update’.

  4. I have forgotten my password. Can I get it from you?
    For security reasons, we cannot see your password. If you forget your password, you have to use the ‘Forgotten Password’ function on the login page to reset your password. Use the password that will be sent to your email account to login. You can then change the password again on the ‘My Account’ page.
    Please make sure that PureCM is white listed with your spam filter to make sure that the email containing your reset password passes to your mailbox.

  5. Can I use my account details for purchases as well?
    Not necessarily. We are currently using an external partner (element 5) to process payments. Element 5 cannot synchronise the account information with us, which is why you are required to register separately with them for a purchase. You can choose the same email and password for both accounts, but they remain separated until we are able to link them.

  6. Who can give me some information if I have problems with my account?
    Just contact us at support@purecm.com, indicating your email address you used to register on the PureCM website. Ideally, this is the same as the one you are using to contact us.
